GIRLS LACROSSE: Abington falls to Pennsbury

Pennsbury entered Tuesday night’s match up against Abington putting its undefeated Suburban One National Conference record on the line against an Abington fighting for its playoff life.

For the first half the Falcons looked to be in trouble, getting outplayed offensively and defensively as the Ghosts went into halftime holding a 6-4 advantage on three goals by sophomore midfielder Jeannie Van Buren and a pair of goals from senior captain Meredith Cox.

The second half looked like a completely different game as Pennsbury outscored Abington 7-1 to win 11-7.
