GIRLS LACROSSE: Hatters ease past Villa Maria
While Villa Maria wasn’t having much difficulty finding the back of the net in the first half, Hatboro-Horsham juniors Katie McKay, Maria Guerra and Rachel Rausa were having an even easier time in what was a game which featured very little defense.
The three Lady Hatters’ midfielders scored four goals apiece in a first half which saw the two teams combine to score 19 goals. By the end of the contest, it was the Lady Hatters who would come out victorious, defeating Villa Maria, 18-9, in a District One Class AAAA first round playoff at Hatboro-Horsham High School on Tuesday.
