VOLLEYBALL: Christopher Dock sweeps past Avon Grove
Christopher Dock volleyball coach Tim Mackey had a plan going into Tuesday night’s District One Class AAA playoff opener against Avon Grove.
Basically the plan was to contain Red Devils star Connor Lammey, who is the elite player in the Philadelphia area. It worked, maybe not as well as Mackey wanted, but it still worked well enough to get the seventh-ranked Pioneers a three-game sweep of No. 10 Avon Grove, 25-21, 25-20, 25-16.
