BOYS LACROSSE: La Salle tops Roman, clinches PCL title

After defeating such powerhouse teams as Conestoga, Garden City (NY), Gilman (MD) and most recently, Haverford, La Salle has been proving itself to be one of the top few teams in the area more and more every day.

The Explorers had something else to celebrate on Monday afternoon at La Salle College High School, as they defeated Philadelphia Catholic League counterpart Roman Catholic, 15-5, in a game which clinched the PCL for the Explorers for the second consecutive year.

La Salle sophomore Travis Miller led the Explorers, who improved to 7-0 in league play, with three goals while leading his team to the convincing victory.
