GIRLS LACROSSE: Episcopal rains on Germantown Academy
The dark, ominous skies that surrounded Smith Field on the campus of Episcopal Academy Tuesday eventually opened up to allow both some sunshine and for the host Churchwomen’s lacrosse team to play Germantown Academy.
Those same dark skies, however, never parted for the Patriots.
Hoping to surprise Episcopal after the two teams played a one-goal game (won by EA) back on April 12, the Churchwomen, instead, dashed those upset plans early, scoring six of the game’s first seven goals and coasting to an easy 16-6 win.
