BASEBALL: Dalton leads Pennridge past Neshaminy
All day in school, Trevor Dalton had one eye on the clock and his mind drifting toward his playoff baseball debut. The Pennridge senior was told the night before he was going to start the second-round game against Neshaminy and it consumed his thoughts.
Dalton knew what he needed to do to help his Rams reach the next round of the District One Class AAAA baseball tournament. Behind his strong start and timely hitting, the North’s 10th-seeded squad upset the North No. 2 Redskins 7-1 Wednesday afternoon.
