GIRLS LACROSSE: PW rallies past Norristown
Recently, Plymouth Whitemarsh High’s girls lacrosse coach Ellen Reilly’s discussions with her team have centered around entering each game ready to play.
The Colonials, it seems, have been burned by slow starts of late.
So one can imagine Reilly’s reaction Thursday afternoon when midway through the first half her team was trailing visiting Norristown by three goals.
Fortunately for PW, the team turned around its fortunes, scored seven of the game’s next eight goals and ultimately rolled to a 19-9 victory.
