BASEBALL: Cheltenham falls to Radnor in nine innings

Playing in its first postseason game in five years, Cheltenham ultimately left its home field in disappointment, but the Panthers certainly didn’t go out without a fight.

Since 2008, Cheltenham hasn’t had much success, but a 14-5 regular season record this year allowed the Panthers to not only finally taste the postseason, but also gave them an opportunity to host their first district playoff game.

And despite giving it their all, the Panthers were defeated, losing 8-7 in nine innings to visiting Radnor in a District One Class AAAA first round playoff on Monday afternoon.
