Any team in District One Class AAAA that didn’t think Mount St. Joseph’s was a threat to win the tournament has now been put on notice after the Magic beat down Central Bucks West. A team that can score at will and has a strong goalie is very, very dangerous.
Mount had a 13-goal first half and rode that wave of momentum to a dominating 20-10 win over CB West. Led by Olivia Gannon’s seven goals, six of which were in the opening stanza, the Magic completely buried the Bucks with offense after going down 3-1 early. It was a confidence-building win, but Mount hopes to continue this success going forward.
