BASEBALL: Methacton pulls out win over Pottstown

The seniors at Methacton felt it necessary to add a little drama on the baseball diamond Monday. It was as if closing out a 2-1 win in the top of the seventh wasn’t good enough that they needed to make it exciting for the family and friends in the bleachers.

Pottstown struck first in the fourth and then struck again in the top of the seventh to take a 4-2 to lead. It was Clay Harwick who started with a first pitch home run in the bottom of the seventh, and it was Harwick again who finished things off with an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to win it for the Warriors.
