BASEBALL: Seniors lead Vikings past Plymouth Whitemarsh
Despite a year of underwhelming results, the Upper Merion Vikings are still determined to end the season on a high note. With only one win thus far, their heads are nevertheless held high.
Thursday afternoon was Senior Day, four years in the making for many of the Upper Merion players, and on the stage was a faceoff against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials. Similarly, the Colonials have not lived up to expectations (or hopes) and each certainly looked to put together the right pieces for a win.
The Vikings’ senior leaders in Mike Camasso and Mike Greenwood helped put together seven strong innings against the reeling Colonials in a 6-2 victory.
