BASEBALL: Delagol leads Tennent past Abington
With a number of college scouts on hand to watch the pitching of Chuck Delagol, the hard-throwing, right-handed starter for William Tennent, the star senior did not disappoint the Panthers nor his spectators.
Delagol, who was maxing out his fastballs in the mid-to-high 80s, pitched a complete game, allowing just one earned run while striking out five batters as the Panthers defeated the Ghosts, 6-3, in a Suburban One National Conference meeting at Abington on Tuesday afternoon.
