VOLLEYBALL: William Tennent falls to CR North
Toward the end of its regular season, William Tennent knew it would likely be a lower-seeded team and would have to beat a team on its home court come district playoff time.
The fortune turned true as the 11th-seeded Panthers took on sixth-seeded Council Rock North in an opening round game of the District One Class AAA playoffs.
Tennent knew entering the match that it would need to be sharp and take advantage of all opportunities in order to pull off the upset. Tennent did not capitalize on opportunities and suffered from errors and unfortunate breaks through out the contest as they lost in straight sets 14-25, 8-25, 15-25.
