BASEBALL: North Penn eases past Conestoga
North Penn baseball coach Kevin Manero has been fortunate to coach some excellent hitters over the years, but he’s never been more impressed by his team’s overall effort at the plate the way that he was on Monday afternoon.
Following the Knights’ 9-3 upset victory over host Conestoga in the opening round of the District One Class AAAA playoffs, Manero praised his club’s approach at the plate as the key to chalking up an impressive win over the second-place team out of the Central League.
