BOYS LACROSSE: Last-second goal lifts Great Valley past Upper Dublin

For Montgomery Media / ADRIANNA HOFF Upper Dublin's Michael Rama muscles past Great Valley's Joe McCahon during district playoff action Tuesday.
By now, it’s a play that is worthy of a name. Tuesday afternoon it might have been called the “Cardinal killer.”

Because when Greg Merrill and Noah Joseph got done working their magic, Great Valley High had done in the Cardinals of Upper Dublin and moved within a victory of a state lacrosse berth.

Joseph scored off a pass from Merrill with two seconds left in regulation, giving the Patriots an 11-10 victory in Tuesday’s District One playback game in a contest that saw the visitors rally twice before Joseph’s last-second game-winner.
