GIRLS TRACK: Upper Merion has successful Senior Day

It was a day to salute the team’s seniors when Upper Merion High’s girls track and field team hosted Norristown Tuesday afternoon, but early afternoon rainstorms threatened to put a damper on things.
Fortunately, the storm that pelted the southern part of the Delaware Valley with intense rain and heavy wind never made its presence felt anywhere near the Vikings’ stadium and that allowed Upper Merion to close out the regular-season on a strong note with a 123-24 Suburban One American Conference dual meet win over Norristown.
