GIRLS LACROSSE: Green powers Maidens past CB South

For Montgomery Media / MARK C. PSORAS North Penn's Hannah Young races past Central Bucks South's Corrine Kenney during Tuesday's Suburban One Continental Conference match.
The North Penn girls lacrosse team was disappointed to hear junior midfielder Kaitlin Suzuki was not going to be available for Tuesday’s Suburban One Continental Conference contest against Central Bucks South.

However the Maidens were not worried. Senior Lauren Green felt she had a few tricks up her sleeve.

“The girls say I have my special move,” Green said. “It’s my special shot, like a crease roll, and where I get most of my goals from. Actually, I got all four goals from it today. I may need to change it up.”

Green got the Maidens going early and behind her four goals toppled the visiting Titans for an 11-4 victory. The attacker danced by defenders and helped the Maidens maintain a high level of play despite Suzuki — a Temple commit — missing from the fold.
