GIRLS LACROSSE: Jenkintown topples New Hope-Solebury
After finishing in second place in the Bicentennial Conference the past two seasons, Jenkintown’s goal this year was to finally come out on top and capture a league title.
The Lady Drakes took yet another step toward reaching that goal thanks to a quick and easy, 16-5 win over New Hope-Solebury in an in-league game played at Jenkintown on an unseasonably cold Monday afternoon.
Led by Emma Dorshimer, who finished with four goals, two assists and two groundballs, Jenkintown improved to 5-0 in league play (7-1 overall), remaining in first place in the Bicentennial League.
