BOYS TRACK: Pennridge runs by Souderton to stay perfect

The Pennridge machine keeps rolling along, and it was Mike Class and Colby Trauger that provided the fuel on Tuesday.

Class sprinted to wins in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, led off the winning 4x100 relay and took first in the long jump while Trauger raced to victories in the 300 and 110 hurdles and led off the winning 4x400 relay, as the Rams earned a 107-43 win over Souderton Area on a chilly afternoon at Pennridge.

“Mikey is consistent and Colby’s really come into his own his senior year,” Pennridge coach Bob Hosier said. “The kids are competitors and they always bring their best no matter what. That’s what we expect and that’s what they did. Souderton’s young, they’re improving and we knew that, but our guys took care of business.”

It was a good day at work for Pennridge, which improved to 6-0 in the Suburban One’s Continental Conference with just one dual meet to go.
