BASEBALL: Late surge lifts Hatters past Pennridge
For six innings Pennridge and Hatboro-Horsham were in the midst of pitcher’s duel between the Hatters’ Ryan Kelly and the Rams’ Evan Myers. Neither team registered a hit in the game until the third inning when Pennridge took a 1-0 lead on an RBI single by second baseman Brad Misialek.
The 1-0 lead would hold until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Hatters’ offense finally emerged and put five runs on the board. The big inning would prove to be the difference as Hatboro-Horsham won the game 5-1.
