GIRLS BASKETBALL: Springfield topples Upper Moreland
It’s very rare when it feels like the first team who scores in a basketball game could be the deciding score of the contest. The feel was just that in a 38-27 slugfest featuring Springfield and Upper Moreland.
It was Springfield emerging victorious on its Senior Night in the two teams fourth meeting of the year with a score that looks like it featured the schools’ football teams rather than its basketball teams.
“We worked hard for this all year, we lost to Upper Moreland once and beat them twice, so we knew it was going to be a good game and we came out really strong at the end,” said senior guard Brianna Moyer.
