BOYS BASKETBALL: Norristown takes care of Plymouth Whitemarsh

For Montgomery Media / ADRIANNA HOFF Norristown's B.J. Gordon tries to stop Plymouth Whitemarsh's Anthony McKie during Friday's District One Class AAAA playoff game.
It’s unusual to play the same team three times in the same season, especially when those two teams have a history such as Norristown and Plymouth Whitemarsh. On Friday night, PW traveled to Norristown’s house, where they haven’t lost in over a month, and gave the Eagles some of the toughest competition they’ve seen all year. However, it wasn’t enough.

Norristown was victorious, 63-53, and moved on in the District One playoffs while PW’s season came to an unwanted end.

“We had to be mentally prepared tonight,” said Bernard Gordon, who scored 31 points. “They (PW) always come with intensity and we were prepared for it.”
