GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lower Moreland eases past Pioneers

Montgomery Media / SCOTT ROMAN Lower Moreland's Jessica Dranzik plays tough defense against Christopher Dock's Kereece Seuren during Thursday's Bicentennial League action.
Sometimes the first quarter can set the tone for the game. For Lower Moreland, a 12-4 opening period did the trick.

The Lady Lions put up double digits in the first three quarters en route to a 49-33 victory over Christopher Dock in a Bicentennial League Independence battle. Led by Bridgette Alexander’s 14 points off the bench, Lower Moreland scored most of their points from mid-range and under the basket. High-percentage shots was the key to the home team’s success as it been all season.
