GIRLS BASKETBALL: Jenkintown rolls by Faith

For Montgomery Media / SUSAN KEEN Jenkintown's Ruby Westkaemper takes the ball to the basket against Faith Christian's Taylor Barnes during Monday night's Bicentennial League action.
With the Bicentennial League’s Constitution Division locked up and the BAL Tournament just a day away, Jenkintown used their game against Faith Christian as a tune-up. The Lady Drakes look pretty good.

Jenkintown routed Faith Christian 65-20, led by Emma Dorshimer’s 20 points. The Lady Drakes pressed early and often, while successfully attacking the rim on offense. Jenkintown had a 20-point lead midway through the second quarter and never looked back.

“We have a big game tomorrow night,” Jenkintown coach Jim Romano said. “But it was a nice game for us, a good little warm up. I got a chance to get everyone in the game, so hopefully I got some people ready for the tournament.”
