BOYS BASKETBALL: Souderton edges CB South to tie for first place
As the Souderton and Central Bucks South big men positioned for a possible rebound, flying in from nowhere came Souderton senior Anthony Williams. The 5-foot-11 football recruit pulled in the rebound and hugged it as tight as he will on the Shippensburg gridiron.
Before Williams worries about his football future, he and his basketball team had business to tend to. The Indians willed their way to a 39-35 victory over the Titans. The win spoiled the home team’s chance at sole possession of a Suburban One Continental Conference championship and kept the Big Red’s dream alive for at least a third of the conference title.
