WRESTLING: Upper Dublin surges past Upper Moreland
By Mike Prince
In what was an
extremely hard-fought, long, back-and-forth match between in-conference rivals
Upper Moreland and Upper Dublin, a pin which took more than five minutes by the
Cardinals’ 145-pound wrestler, Jacob Haney, changed the course of the match for
both teams.
Including Haney’s
pin, which took five minutes, 17
seconds, Upper Dublin won six of the final seven bouts of the night – all of
which came via pin.
The strong finish
helped the Cardinals to a 48-22 win at Upper Moreland in a Suburban One
American Conference meet on Wednesday night.
