BOYS BASKETBALL: Wissahickon falls to Perk Valley
On a frigid Wednesday night, Perkiomen Valley used its tight defense and stellar efforts from multiple players to stifle the Wissahickon Trojans, 48-32.
Perk Valley came out of the gate firing, led by Steve Leonard’s nine first quarter points. Stewart and Wilson had four apiece in the 17-8 first.
The team’s ability to rely on different players was a focus of Vikings coach Mike Poysden after the game.
