BOYS BASKETBALL: Hatboro-Horsham fights past Upper Dublin

Upper Dublin can’t catch a break. After leading all game just to lose at home against Wissahickon the night before, the Cardinals were dealt 12-2 Hatboro-Horsham. Upper Dublin fought valiantly for the second day in a row, but once again fell short

“I told these guys that every coach I speak to admits that we are not an easy team to play,” Upper Dublin coach Josh Adelman said. “I’m proud of the effort my guys give every night. I just think tonight it came down to us missing foul shots and them making foul shots. It doesn’t feel like a 10-point defeat.”

The Hatters, now 13-2, held a small lead most of the game before stretching to 10 late in their 51-41 victory over Upper Dublin as part of the Suburban One League Challenge at Quakertown High School. Led by great performances by Mike Brown and Zach Quattro, H-H used the three-ball early and played inside late to outlast a resilient Cardinals team.
