BOYS BASKETBALL: Dolton leads Phil-Mont past Jenkintown
With a Jenkintown boys’ basketball team currently on a streak as cold as the recent weather outside, Phil-Mont Christian, for the second time in 22 days, took advantage of its Bicentennial League rivals’ struggles.
Thanks to a huge effort from big man Zach Dolton, the Falcons were able to win the back-and-forth battle and leave with a 61-58 win over the Drakes at Jenkintown High School on Saturday evening.
The loss was the 10th in 11 games – as well as the fourth in a row – for Jenkintown (4-13, 3-6), which also lost to Phil-Mont 51-41 on Jan. 4.
