BOYS BASKETBALL: Souderton holds off CB West
A couple weeks earlier, coach Peter Chimera was sure the result would have been different for the Souderton boys basketball team.
But on a snowy Friday night, the more composed Indians were able to shake off some struggles after a hot opening quarter to collect their sixth straight win, topping host Central Bucks West for a 53-47 Suburban One Continental Conference victory.
“I said to the guys, ‘This is a game we would have lost a month ago,’” Chimera said. “Because they would have panicked a little more — they panicked a little — but panicked more and just not really got it done.”
