WRESTLING: Upper Dublin eases past Cheltenham
Entering with a 10-2 overall record, Upper Dublin’s wrestling team did exactly what its coach expected before the meet began.
Between two forfeits at the top and bottom weight classes, as well as an overall dominating Upper Dublin team, the Cardinals left Cheltenham with an expected, convincing win in the battle of Suburban One American Conference teams.
Thanks to pins from the likes of 120-pounder Talib Davis, 126-pounder Colin Devlin and 145-pounder Christian Schultz, among others, Upper Dublin ran away with the victory, coming out with a 69-9 win over the Panthers in the in-league meet at Cheltenham High School on Wednesday night.
